Why Choose the Single-Rod Model?
Designed for Narrower Spaces
The slim single-rod layout uses less side-to-side space than wider multi-rod models, making it suitable for selected balconies, bay-window areas and other narrow installation spaces.
28–48 Individual Hanger Positions
The perforated main rod keeps individual clothes hangers separated along the rail. Choose 28 holes on the 1.5 m model, 40 on the 2.0 m model or 48 on the 2.4 m model.
Separate Lower Drying Rail
A separate lower rail provides additional drying space for sheets, duvet covers and other larger laundry items.
Hand-Crank Lifting — No Electricity Required
Turn the handle to raise or lower the airer. Both ends move together to keep the rack level, and the locking mechanism holds it at the selected height.
Choose Your Rod Length
The listed length refers to the total length of the main hanging rod. Check the available installation area before selecting a size.
| Length | Hanger holes | Choose it when |
|---|---|---|
| 1.5 m | 28 | You have a shorter installation area |
| 2.0 m | 40 | You want more everyday hanging space |
| 2.4 m | 48 | You have room for the longest rod option |
Check these measurements and installation conditions before ordering.

FAQ
Is this model suitable for a narrow balcony?
A clear balcony width of 50 cm or more is recommended. You should also check the selected rod length, ceiling structure, wall space for the winch and clearance from nearby windows, doors, curtains and other fixtures.
Why is it called Single-Rod if there is another rail?
“Single-Rod” refers to the main perforated clothes-hanging rod. The product also includes a separate lower drying rail for sheets, duvet covers and other larger laundry items.
How many hanger holes does each size have?
The 1.5 m model has 28 holes, the 2.0 m model has 40, and the 2.4 m model has 48.
Does it need electricity?
No. The airer is raised and lowered by turning the hand crank.
Can I raise only one side?
No. Both ends are designed to move together so the airer remains level during normal operation.
Can I use the lower rail for sheets and duvet covers?
Yes. The separate lower drying rail is intended for sheets, duvet covers and other larger laundry items. Keep the total load within the 25 kg rated limit and distribute the weight evenly.
What if my ceiling is higher than 3 m?
Contact EaseRack before ordering. Installations above approximately 3 m require an extended wire-rope and compatible winch configuration.
Are there ceiling types where it cannot be installed?
Yes. The system requires secure structural fixing. Prefabricated ceiling panels and dry-hung stone cladding are not suitable. Decorative or suspended ceiling finishes require a suitable supporting structure above the visible surface.
